a little change!

I kept total control over myself for the very first time in my life. I am happy I have changed a bit. It rained a lot over the weekend. I couldn’t take as many pictures as I wanted to. I had some nice shots though. I really enjoy very much photography. It is a nice challenge and it forces me to go around and to look at things at different angles.

World Tour!

I am seriously thinking about it. I have two full months of paid vacation…I have a nice camera, I have some cash and I am in good health…How about a World Tour?

4 little months!

That’s right, my blog is 4 months old now. I am glad I have kept it up for that long. It has been a lot of fun having a blog. Many photos and events to share with my friends and my family. It was the starting point of my new hobby, photography. I would like to invest more time into it of course and have more beautiful pictures. I am after a unique shot. Something no one has yet, something to stun people who will see it. Slowly but surely I discover all the special functions.

Major move!

I moved the Apache server and WordPress to the old laptop I had before, called “dino” because it is too old. The Asus keeps on crashing too much and it takes a lot of effort and time to recover everything. Sometimes I loose few posts and pictures if I am too lazy to do a daily backup. I think it is due to the heat. These crashes always happen when it is hot and heavy! I noticed some tricky things in the process of doing it. I have to fix these before I am becoming too dependant of my own forward link: ptran.redirectme.net…and make something more flexible!

Torpor!

The doctor showed me my enormous molar 16! Who could guess teeth have such enormous roots. They are almost twice the size of the tooth and quite long compared to the visible part of the tooth. The young doctor was proud of himself and he showed me the cyst that came along with the extracted tooth. It was attached to the end of one of the root. The post-surgical treatment consist of stopping the bleeding with bandages (to be replaced every hour or so), resting and eating something soft. For the next five days, I am on antibiotics. I am feeling much better after a night of rest, I slept like a baby. I only did 5.2 kms today including a 1 km without paddles and pull-buoy. It is strange though, I feel a bit of fever, my muscles do ache a bit as if I had the flu.

Also for the very first time of my life my mind went blank for few seconds. The doctor had to call me several times to get my attention. It was a funny feeling. I wish I can experience more of these. I did not hear or see him, I saw some white shapes in my mind and there was no sound at all. When I got out of my torpor, I could hear the dentist’s voice first from far away then I was back to the room. Exactly like in movies!

Fever!

It took the dentist 30 minutes in to remove the tooth!…scary but very clean work! I have little bit of fever. It was my second hardest decision but I am relieved I took it. I just want to be alone until I leave Australia. Life is funny… all the events concur to the same point , especially the bad ones!

NUTSHELL time until I get better.

Finally

I bought a new bag for my nikon d200 and a Manfrotto tripod! Now I have all the professional equipments for my hobby. As soon as I have some free time in the evening, I will try to take nice pictures of Brisbane by night. While waiting for the bus I could take few pictures of nice buildings in Brisbane, I think it is a church and Gotham city
