In the future where will I be?…

I really don’t know. I try hard to avoid thinking about it so that I do not have more white hair than I should have for my age! Sometimes late at night when I cannot sleep, the unavoidable question comes back. The only way to resolve this problem of course is to run and swim as hard as I can during the day so that when the night comes, I have no choice but to sleep. Sometimes I wish I am different. I wish I do not have these psycho-depressive behaviors.
The “hidden Eden” photo at Mt Barney got picked up by the organizer again to be the welcome picture. Many of my pictures were chosen and I am very proud of them. I have a natural feeling for things that are beautiful. Even for my work, the pictures just look perfect. The perfect blue drop is an example of my desire to look for perfection. I could not stop until I got the perfect drop (3 days!)
Today I had a good swim with Peter. It is now a confirmation, I got much faster. I can keep up with him at any pace and at any length. Happy! Happy! Happy Me!

“I can feel it in the air…

I can feel it in the earth…” All the sad events are coming at once as usual. My ipod died, my computer is slow and kept on crashing, my USB enclosure is dead. I should react quickly otherwise I will loose some data. I am glad I did a fresh synchronization with my lab’s HD.
Still I am not at ease so long as my backup HD is not working. Let’s keep fingers crossed!

Resuming my routine!

I am having a headache due the excess of whiskey I drank yesterday. I was so relieved after the presentation. So this morning it is a bit difficult to wake up and get ready for the swim. I forgot to mention that, yesterday, I did two good actions helping a woman and a girl with their wallets. One dropped it on the ground and the other forgot it at the bus stop.

Lovely place!!! I dislike conferences because they disturb my routines but I should admit this one was great! I got my own lovely room in a superb hotel near the beach with ocean view. LOVED IT! LOVED IT! LOVED IT! I did a great presentation and people enjoyed it very much.

About photography

After 3 days battling with water drops, I have to admit, it is NOT EASY. Hundreds of shots taken produce a few decent pictures and one or maybe two very good if you are lucky. I am glad digital photography exists. I would not have enough money to pay for my shots of the drops in the old days. I became obsessed with the drops I have to say. This feeling is so strange! Having the tools to make awesome pictures in my living room is just wonderful. I need to be patient and learn more. This is just one technique and it is not as complicated as you think!
DAMN YOU WATER DROPS, I REALLY HATE YOU!
