It seems that my body has gotten rid of the unwanted nasty cold. I was feeling much better last night—no congested nose, no annoying cough, just a little bit of a runny nose. The regular workout and the miracle recipe of ginger, honey, tea, and lemon hastened the recovery. The lingering pain in the throat and nose was gone after 15 minutes of floor climbing.

I found an excellent deal on “leboncoin”: 90 Euros for the powerful Epson EMP-TW980 3LCD. It was rarely used (160 hours) and I was the fortunate buyer who collects expensive high-tech gadgets I do not really need. It is an excellent replacement for my sister’s expensive BenQ W1070 (that died). I only go and fetch things that are worth more than 1500 Euros on leboncoin nowadays… just because I am a geek.

On Christmas Eve, I made a bad choice. I drank a little bit of alcohol, and it disturbed my recovery sleep and worsened my minor cold. I corrected that mistake yesterday, and things are looking better.

Unlike regular gym-goers, I rarely focus solely on my upper body. Instead, I do floor climbing (20 min), indoor biking (35 min), and upper body exercises (only 20 min). I aim to work out my entire body. I’ve noticed that many people put a lot of effort into losing their love handles and building bigger biceps, but they often get nowhere unless they also change their diet.
